King Hamad American Mission Hospital is ida’s mega hospital project, the first eco-friendly solar-run hospital in Bahrain and the first to introduce a hybrid operating system involving robots on a large-scale capacity.

“A Warm Welcome with Natural Feel” Healing and Recovering Environment

The design concept for public areas is inspired by the healing leaves from the “Tree of Life”. Nature inspired colour palette, patterns, shapes and overall elements are derived from it. The. Interior design is mixed with a touch of elegance to create a harmonious, welcoming environment for the public.

Using AMH’s history and Bahrain’s rich heritage, the new hospital will make references to its woven roofs, pottery, arched windows and details from its old hospital buildings.
