Grand Bazar, the first-of-its-kind traditional souk in Pakistan is located in the Main Islamabad Expressway. A blend of the modern and cultural, this IDA Pakistan project is a primary part of the country's most prestigious square kilometer — the Islamabad Downtown.

The Grand Bazar by IMARAT Group offers a glance at the history and culture of Pakistan. The façade of the building is inspired by the Islamic colonial architecture and it pays homage to the Mall of Arabia. The building design is a perfect example of critical visualism. The idea behind the concept is to preserve the local context, the local culture for locals and foreign tourists.

Set to be Islamabad’s biggest curated and canvassed market, it will be an amalgamation of a gold souk, spice Bazar, crockery market, wedding market, and more — creating a modern global village under one roof.
